Ed and Ellen welcomed Mark Edward into the world on January 29, 1980.

He grew up in Warrenton, Virginia in good old Fauquier County along with an older sister, Vera, and two younger brothers, Paul & Stephen.

Raised as a Catholic he went church at Saint John the Evangelist in Warrenton, VA. Where he learned about God from their CCD program, alter served for a few years, and was very active in their youth group program.

Mark enjoyed scouting very much. He went through all of the cub scout ranks for Pack 1161 then joined boy scout troup 161 and flew to Eagle which he received in October 1997.

Mark was always eager to learn as he attended school in Fauquier County. He Went to:

* Fauquier County Public Schools merged the ninth grade class from the Junior High School to the High School the year Mark started high school. Warrenton Junior High then changed its name to Warrenton Middle School.

Liked every other boy, Mark did sports. He did T-Ball, Soccer, Baseball, and Swim Team when he was young. He would like to say that he was good in those sports, but then that would be a lie and Mark does not like to lie. Later, in high school, Mark did join the school's Wrestling team. He was on the Varsity Squad his sophomore, junior, and senior year. While he was not feared around the district, he had is fair share of wins. He even was once featured in the local papers for sealing the victory for Fauquier High over their rival, Liberty.

After high school, Mark attended George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. He started with a major in Computer Science and finish school with a BS in Computer Science. Starting his sophomore year, Mark found Catholic Campus Ministry. He meet so many of his friends through that program. Including Melanie. Mark also joined the Knights of Columbus while he was at CCM.

Today, Mark lives in Falls Church. He currently works for Nexus Systems as a Application Developer. He volunteers with the Knights of Columbus as a member of Holy Spirit Council 11922 and Msgr. Francis L. Bradican Assembly. The Knights gives him to opportunity to visit the National Shrine every month as an usher. He enjoys the company of his friends and is very excited about the newest member of his family Alex Gorly, his nephew. Mark is very much looking forward with the thoughts of marriage and hopes to see you at the wedding.
